Corporate Online Training for Employees
The Biotech Learning Institute (BLI) specializes
in providing biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies with online
training for their employees.
By providing 1) a full-service solution to training,
2) a complete list of validated, high-quality courses to train
professionals working in the industry, and 3) easy-to-use,
customized training reports for Training Managers,
the Biotech Learning Institute is the best source of filling
corporate training needs.
The Biotech Learning Institute's Corporate Training Solution
Procedure:
- An annual or bi-annual Licensing Agreement
is extended to the company seeking to train its employees
using courses offered through the Biotech Learning Institute.
Discounted training is provided for companies training 10
or more employees/contractors. The agreement can be extended
for one course, multiple courses, or for access to the full
catalog of BLI's online courses.
Once
the Licensing Agreement is signed, the company will
send an Employee Training Spreadsheet to BLI, including
the names, email addresses, phone numbers for the employees
needing the training. This spreadsheet does not
need to include all the employees needing training. It can
be sent including small batches of employees throughout
the term of the Licensing Agreement.
- BLI sets up all the employees needing training with a
user profile, including a username and password required
to access the BLI user interface.
- User Access Emails are sent to each employee.
This email provides the employees with all the information
required to access the BLI user interface. The interface
lists all the course(s) which the employees have been enrolled
in. The User Access Email includes helpful hints to accessing
and completing the requirements needed to pass the course(s).
The training manager can be copied on these user access
emails.
- The employee is provided 24/7 access to the course(s)
for a term period of 90 days from when the employee
is issued the email providing their user access information.
The employee can access the course(s) using any Internet
Connection,
such as their computer at home or at work. Slow dial-up
networking requires extra time to buffer the course, but
works fine with all the BLI course(s).
- The employees can take the Course Final Assessment
as many times as they would like during their 90 day access
period. Their highest score is the score that is recognized.
Access to the course(s) can be extended for an additional
period of 30 days.
- Once the employee passes the Course(s) Final Assessment,
they are done with the training. Training Certificates
of Completion are emailed out once a month to the
employees that have passed the course during the previous
month. The training manager can be copied on these emails
which include the certificates.
Employee
Training Updates are issued in spreadsheet format
to the training manager every month. These spreadsheets
include the employee's name, the course that they are enrolled
in, date of access, and their status (whether they passed
or not), along with other details.
- The training manager has access to a Biotech Learning
Institute Training Account Manager, who is responsible
for enrolling users, providing interim updates, answering
questions, extending employee access, issuing the Employee
Training Updates, and more.
- Licensing Agreement can be renewed on
an annual or bi-annual basis.
